The Gmina Górowo Iławeckie [ 'gmina guˈrɔvɔ iwaˈvɛtskʲɛ ] is a rural municipality in Powiat Bartoszycki , Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , Poland . The town of the same name, Górowo Iławeckie , does not belong to the rural municipality.
Until 1945 this part of Poland belonged to East Prussia .
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Olsztyn Voivodeship .
