The Gmina Jerzmanowice-Przeginia is a rural municipality ( gmina wiejska ) in the powiat Krakowski in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship , Poland . The seat of the municipal administration is in the village of Jerzmanowice .

The municipality Jerzmanowice-Przeginia is located approx. 22 km northwest of Krakow and it has an area of ​​68.39 km². 85% of the municipal area is used for agriculture, 9% is covered with forest. To the north is the Cracow-Częstochowa Upland and there are 41 registered natural monuments on the territory of the municipality.

Droga krajowa 94 runs through the municipality .

history

Gmina Jerzmanowice-Przeginia was created in 1976 from the merger of Gmina Jerzmanowice and Gmina Przeginia. Like the two previous municipalities, the newly created municipality of Jerzmanowice-Przeginia belongs to the Kraków Voivodeship, which existed from 1975 to 1998 .
