The Gmina Kazimierza Wielka [ kaʑiˈmʲɛʐa ˈvʲɛlka ] is a town-and-country municipality in the Kazimierski powiat of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland . The seat of the Powiat and the municipality is the city of the same name with about 5650 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality is located in the southern part of the voivodeship in the lowlands of the Nida . The Nidzica is one of the waters .
history
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Kielce Voivodeship .
Its population decreased from 18,050 in 2002 to 16,637 in 2008 and was 16,379 at the end of 2016.
Town twinning
Partnerships exist with Altenstadt (Hessen) and Buschatsch (Ukraine).
