The Gmina Lipnica Murowana is a rural community in the powiat Bocheński of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the place of the same name with about 900 inhabitants.

The municipality is located in the foothills on the road from Gdów to Czchów . The Uszwica River is one of the waters .

Lipnica, the capital of the municipality, had the 1326-1933 municipal law .

From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Tarnów Voivodeship .

The rural community (gmina wiejska) Lipnica Murowana includes five villages with a school administration (sołectwo) :
