The Gmina Olsztyn is a rural municipality in the powiat Częstochowski of the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name ( German Holstin , Hohlstein ) with about 2330 inhabitants (2008).
geography
The municipality borders on the district town of Częstochowa in the northwest . It is located in the landscape of the Krakow-Czestochowa Jura in the historical region of Lesser Poland .
history
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Częstochowa Voivodeship .
