The Gmina Wyry is a rural community in the Powiat Mikołowski of the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the same , Upper Silesian village ( German Wyrow ) with 3,727 inhabitants (31 March 2011).

The rural community is divided into two villages, each with a Schulzenamt:

Community leader
The head of the city administration is the community leader . Since 2006 this has been Barbara Prasoł. The regular election in October 2018 led to the following result:
- Barbara Prasoł (Election Committee of the “Wyry 2023 Voters' Community”) 54.5% of the votes
- Adam Myszor (Election Committee of the Adam Myszor Residents' Union) 39.1% of the vote
- Krzystof Rybczyński ( Silesian Regional Party ) 6.5% of the vote
With that, Prasoł was re-elected as community leader in the first ballot.
Municipal council
The municipal council consists of 15 members and is directly elected by the population in one-person constituencies. The 2018 municipal council election led to the following result:
- Election committee of the “Wyry 2023 voter community” 43.7% of the vote, 9 seats
- Election Committee of the Residents' Union Adam Myszor 32.0% of the vote, 5 seats
- Silesian Regional Party 12.4% of the vote, 1 seat
- Election Committee “Local Administration of Upper Silesia” 9.2% of the vote, no seat
- Remaining 2.7% of the vote, no seat
