As a golden set ( German  golden sentence ) or golden bagel ( German  golden bagel ) a set win without loss points is referred to in tennis . To do this, the player must win 24 points in a row so that all games go over 40: 0 and are won to zero. The sentence must end with 6-0. In the history of professional tennis, only four players succeeded in this feat: in 1983 the American Bill Scanlon , in 2012 the Kazakh Yaroslawa Schwedowa , in 2013 the German Julian Reister and in 2015 the Italian Stefano Napolitano . Even before the professional era, however, the American Pauline Betz also managed a golden set in 1943.

On February 22, 2006, the Kazakh Swedova had already won 23 consecutive points in the first set of the second round encounter at Memphis International against the American Amy Frazier . Despite this WTA record, Frazier won the match 1: 6, 6: 0, 6: 0.
