The Goldhammer Bach is a flowing body of water in Bochum-Hamme . It is a five and a half kilometers long, southern and left tributary of the Hüller Bach .

The Goldhammer Bach rises at the eastern foot of the Ackerberg. It first flows north through fields and meadows, then crosses under the tracks and then runs through allotments. It now crosses the L 654, then passes a sports area to the east and then first crosses the B 448 and immediately afterwards the B 40 .

It is now reinforced on its left by the Kabeisemanns Bach , then flows north-northwest through a green zone between Günnigfeld and Hordel and finally flows into the Hüller Bach at a height of about 47 m from the left .

Flood protection

In April 2014, the Emschergenossenschaft started the construction of a new flood retention basin at Goldhammer Bach . The construction cost 3 million euros.
