Gordian Guckh (also Gugg or Gugk * probably around 1480, † 1541-1545) was a sculptor and painter of the late Gothic period .

The exact dates of life are not known. Gordian Guckh was probably born around 1480, he can be proven between 1506 (as a house owner in Laufen an der Salzach ) and 1541 (in a document from the city of Laufen an der Salzach). He died between 1541 and 1545, because in 1545 his heirs had a legal battle over outstanding debts. He received his training as a sculptor and barrel painter in Salzburg . Stylistically he is close to the Danube School .

Gordian Guckh was an influential citizen of the city of Laufen an der Salzach, was on the city council, at times even mayor, as well as Zechprobst (asset manager) at the parish church "Our Lady" . He was very wealthy and gave large loans to town and church. He financed the construction of the church partly out of his own pocket.
