Goschenreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Karlstein an der Thaya in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 33 building areas with 15,242 m² and 38 gardens on 18,913 m² in the cadastral community of Goschenreith , in 1989/1990 there were 32 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 117 and in 2009/2010 there were 56 buildings on 117 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 123 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 86 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 122 hectares and 88 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 118 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 88 hectares. The average soil climate in Goschenreith is 36.3 (as of 2010).
