The Bizerte Governorate ( Arabic ولاية بنزرت, DMG Wilāyat Binzart ) is one of the 24 governorates of Tunisia . It is located in the north of the country, has an area of 3,750 km² and 551,500 inhabitants.
The capital is the eponymous Bizerte . The Galite Islands are part of the governorate.
