The Manouba Governorate ( Arabic ولاية منوبة, DMG Wilāyat Manūba ) is one of 24 governorates in Tunisia . It is located in the north of the country and covers an area of 1137 km² (0.7% of the state territory). The population is 375,300. The capital is the eponymous Manouba . The governorate was established on July 31, 2000.
