Rolex Sports Car Series 2009
The Rolex Sports Car Series 2009 is the tenth season of the Rolex Sports Car Series.
In the 2009 season, 12 races were held in the Grand Am Rolex Sports Car Series. The season began with the Daytona 24-hour race on January 24th and 25th in Daytona Beach , Florida . With the exception of the race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal , Canada , all races were held in the USA. The length of the races was mostly 250 miles.
From a German point of view, Farnbacher-Loles Racing competed in the GT class in 2009 . The two German pilots Dirk Werner and Wolf Henzler were also used. Dirk Werner and Farnbacher-Loles Racing won the GT class in 2007 with a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup . Porsche factory driver Jörg Bergmeister won the 2006 title in the prototype class.

Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney won the Daytona Prototypes class on a Riley Mk. XX Pontiac . The GT class was won by Leh Keen and Dirk Werner in a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup.
