Greatest Hits is the first official best-of album by Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue , released in August 1992. It includes all singles released worldwide up to that point as well as three new songs.

The compilation combined a total of 19 hits from the previous four studio albums, 16 of which made it into the British top ten (five of them at number one). In Germany, at least four made it into the top ten - including their number one “I Should Be So Lucky”. Also included are the local releases "Turn It Into Love" (# 1 in Japan) and "It's No Secret" (# 37 in the US). The three new songs were "Where In The World?", "What Kind Of Fool (Heard All That Before)" and the Kool - & - the-Gang cover "Celebration". The last two were released as a single. The video for “What Kind of Fool (Heard All That Before)”, an ironic Brigitte Bardot parody, was particularly successful on the music channels. However, the single ranked poorly, even in the UK charts, where Kylie had previously celebrated her greatest successes.

With this release, Minogue ended their successful collaboration with the production team Stock Aitken Waterman due to artistic differences: The production team, which had written the majority of the hits included, had only recently given Minogue a say in song selection and promotion. Minogue could not prevent the album cover, which showed her as a "nice girl next door" and no longer met her own image requirements, which she was only able to prove two years later as "indie Kylie".
