Let's Get to It is the fourth studio album by Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue . It was released in October 1991.

history

In the early summer of 1991, Minogue recorded Let's Get to It . It became the last studio album for Pete Waterman Entertainment (PWL). The pieces were u. a. Co- authored with songwriter Mike Stock of Stock Aitken Waterman . Still, she had increasingly taken creative control, as well as that of her image. In the meantime, Minogue had shed her emphatically "innocent" appearance from the first dance-pop phase and was dubbed "sexy Kylie" by the press. With Give Me Just a Little More Time , a song by Chairmen of the Board from 1970 was covered. The cover version reached number two in the UK .

Success and criticism

Allmusic's Chris True called the record "not their most solid release". However, fans of the first Minogue phase would appreciate the record. The rating was 2.5 out of five stars. The Digital Spy site awarded four out of five stars. The album peaked at number 15 in the UK and number 13 in their native Australia .
