Grentzingen ( dt. Grenzingen ) is a former French commune with 553 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013) in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region . The community belonged to the arrondissement Altkirch and the canton Hirsingue .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the former communities of Grentzingen , Henflingen and Oberdorf were merged to form Commune nouvelle Illtal .

The place is located in Sundgau , 25 kilometers west of Basel and 10 kilometers southeast of Altkirch .
