The Gresse is a river in France that runs in the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the Vercors Regional Nature Park , on the northeast flank of the Petit Veymont summit (2120 m), in the municipality of Gresse-en-Vercors , generally drains in a north-easterly direction and, after 35 kilometers, flows into the municipality of Varces-Allières-et-Risset , just under south of Grenoble , as a left tributary into the Drac .
