Großzöberitz is a village in the town of Zörbig in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district ( Saxony-Anhalt ). It was formed in 1936 from the places Zöberitz, Möhlau and Tannepöls. Großzöberitz is one of the 18 places that together make up the city of Zörbig.

The village is located east of the center of Zörbig. It is located in the south of Saxony-Anhalt between Bitterfeld and Köthen .

history

Tannepöls was first mentioned in a document in 1459. The places Zöberitz, Möhlau and Tannepöls belonged to the Electoral Saxon Office of Zörbig until 1815 .
