Gsellmühle is a part of the municipality Altenthann in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Gsellmühle is located in the Regensburg region, about two kilometers west of Altenthann am Sulzbach, which is also known as the Adlmannsteiner Bach.

history

Gsellmühle together with Gsellhof was listed in 1599 as belonging to the Donaustauf district court with bailiwick and authority. The Klosterreichenbach was landlord of Gsellhof and Gsell mill. That is why Gsellhof was never authorized to use forestry. In 1588 and 1600 Gsellmühle belonged to Hofmark Adlmannstein, separated from Gsellhof, which belonged to the Propstei Langfeld . The Hofmarkherr von Altenthann bought Gsellmühle in 1638, but this did not change the rights of the bailiwick. Up until the 18th century, the people of Zen also benefited from Gsellmühle's income.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter) Gsellmühle belonged to the parish of Wenzenbach and had 3 houses and 12 residents.

On December 31, 1990 Gsellmühle had 14 residents and belonged to the parish Altenthann.
