Weiherhaus is a district of the municipality Altenthann in Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg ( Bayern ).

Geographical location

Weiherhaus is located in the Regensburg region north of the state road 2145 about one kilometer south of Altenthann on the Weiherhausbächlein, which joins the Gottesberger Bächlein about 500 meters further east and flows into the Otterbach.

history

Weiherhaus was first mentioned in 1576 in the Lichtenwald monastery book as "Haus bey dem große Weyher". In 1582 it was named as granted to inheritance law and in 1588 it was listed in the Giltbuch of Hofmark Lichtenwald.

In the 18th century Weiherhaus belonged to Hofmark Altenthann.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter) Weiherhaus belonged to the parish Altenthann and had two houses and eleven residents.

On December 31, 1990 Weiherhaus had seven residents and belonged to the parish Altenthann.
