Wiesing is a district of the municipality Altenthann in Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg ( Bayern ).

Geographical location

Wiesing is located in the Regensburg region, about three kilometers northeast of Altenthann.

history

Wiesing (originally: Wisern) is not a real -ing- place. The place was created in a later wave of settlements. It was first mentioned in writing in 1521. Wiesing was in the hands of the Reichenbach Monastery and under the jurisdiction of the Donaustauf Regional Court .

As of March 23, 1913 (Easter) Wiesing belonged to the Pettenreuth parish and had one house and 11 residents.

On December 31, 1990 Wiesing had 7 residents and belonged to the parish of Pettenreuth.
