Roidhof is a part of the municipality Altenthann in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Roidhof is located in the Regensburg region, on state road 2145 and about three kilometers southwest of Altenthann.

history

Roidhof was first mentioned in writing in 1498 as an old accessory to Lichtenwald Castle. It was owned by Urban Zenger vom Lichtenwald zum Adlmannstein . Urban Zenger passed Roidhof on to his son Wiguläus Zenger. With that Roidhof became part of the Hofmark Adlmannstein, where it remained until the 18th century.

The Lichtenwalder and the pastor of Altenthann divided into the tithe von Roidhof from 1576 .

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Roidhof belonged to the parish Altenthann and had one house and 7 residents.

On December 31, 1990 Roidhof had 28 inhabitants and belonged to the parish Altenthann.
