Berghof is a district of the municipality Altenthann in Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg ( Bayern ).

Geographical location

Berghof is located in the Regensburg region, about two kilometers west of Altenthann.

history

The name Berghof developed from Hof ​​auf dem Berg, Aufmberg, Perckhof. In the pen book of Hofmark Adlmannstein in 1582 a farm "on the mountain" is mentioned, which is probably identical to the "Aufmberg" mentioned in 1588. Berghof was owned by Altenthann in 1599, but only became a single shift from the 17th century. It remained with Hofmark Altenthann until the end of the 18th century.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Berghof belonged to the Altenthann parish and had two houses and 10 residents. At the time of the 1987 census, there were two buildings with living space, three apartments and twelve residents in Berghof. On December 31, 1990 Berghof had 13 residents and belonged to the parish Altenthann.
