Hornismühle is a district of the municipality Altenthann in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Hornismühle is located in the Regensburg region, about two kilometers north of Altenthann am Sulzbach, which is also called Adlmannsteiner Bach.

history

Hornismühle (also: Harnaßmühle, Harnersmühle) was first mentioned in writing in 1466, when Wolfgang Zenger donated the mill loan for a benefit to the St. Michael's altar in Altenthann. In the 15th century the manorial rights to the Hornismühle were mainly held by the Zengers. In 1582, 1588 and 1600 the Hornismühle appeared in the pen book of the Hofmark Adlmannstein. In 1599 the Hornismühle belonged to Hauzendorf Castle in the so-called Junge Pfalz. The Donaustauf Regional Court represented the high authorities and the Straubing Rent Office collected the land tax. This shows that the Hornismühle belonged to Lower Bavaria.

From 1671 the Hornismühle was owned by the Frauenzell monastery .

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Hornismühle belonged to the parish of Pettenreuth and had a house and 8 residents.

On December 31, 1990 Hornismühle had 10 residents and belonged to the parish Altenthann.
