Eichhof is a part of the municipality Altenthann in the Upper Palatinate district of Regensburg ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Eichhof is located in the Regensburg region, on state road 2145 about 2.5 kilometers southwest of Altenthann.

history

Eichhof (also Aichhof) was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1465 when the Eichhof farmer bought Huntswies to the farm and was referred to as an old Lichtenwald property. In 1498 it came into the possession of Urban Zenger vom Lichtenwald zum Adlmannstein , who passed the farm on to his son Wiguläus Zenger. Eichhof then became part of the Hofmark Adlmannstein, where it remained until 1610. The Lichtenwalder and the pastor of Altenthann divided from 1576 into the large and small tithe of Eichhof.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Eichhof belonged to the Altenthann parish and had two houses and 13 residents.

On December 31, 1990, Eichhof had 19 residents and belonged to the parish Altenthann.
