Guo Hong ( Chinese  郭宏 , Pinyin Guō Hóng ; The Great Wall of China ; * May 1, 1973 in Heilongjiang ) is a former Chinese ice hockey goalkeeper who has participated with the Chinese national team in numerous international tournaments. She is best known for the games in which she parried over 50 shots. At the 2002 Winter Olympics , Guo achieved a catch rate of 88.79 percent and statistically led in held shots and received the most shots on goal. At the 1996 tournament of the Pacific Ice Hockey Championship , she played one of the best games of her career, when she saved 38 of 39 shots in the game against the Canadian women's national team and China only lost 1-0 to Canada. She was also named the tournament's best goalkeeper.

At the club level, she played for the Harbin team .
