Gustav von Görtz-Wrisberg

Gustav Graf von Schlitz called von Görtz and von Wrisberg , on Brunkensen and Brünighausen (born December 29, 1815 in Hanover , † April 10, 1882 in Brunkensen ) was the Duke of Braunschweig colonel and in 1868 and 1869 the commandant of the Duke of Braunschweig Infantry Regiment No. 92 .

Von Görtz-Wrisberg was named the son of Moritz Graf von Schlitz. Von Görtz and von Wrisberg, auf Brunkensen and Brünnighausen (1779-1853) and his wife Eugenie von Staff (1790-1847). His parents divorced in 1821.

Military career

He entered the military as a cadet on April 16, 1830 , where he was appointed Portepee Ensign on April 24, 1834 and Second Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion of the Infantry Regiment on April 25, 1834 . Von Görtz-Wrisberg was married to Eugenie von Hertzberg (1823–1871), daughter of Lieutenant General Friedrich August von Herzberg .
