Gustavo Alejandro Montini
Gustavo Alejandro Montini (born July 27, 1970 in Colonia Raquel , Castellanos Department , Santa Fe Province , Argentina ) is an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Santo Tomé .
Life
Gustavo Alejandro Montini received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Rafaela on March 15, 1996 .
After serving as chaplain in three parishes, Montini was, among other things, spiritual at the seminary in Paraná , chancellor and episcopal vicar and, from 2008, vicar general in the diocese of Rafaela.
On February 14, 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Tisedi and auxiliary bishop in San Roque de Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña . The Archbishop of Mendoza , Carlos María Franzini , donated him episcopal ordination on May 1st of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of San Roque de Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña, Hugo Nicolás Barbaro , and the Bishop of Rafaela , Luis Alberto Fernández .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Santo Tomé on December 16, 2016 .
