Gustavo Franchin Schiavolin (born February 19, 1982 in Campinas ), known by his stage name Gustavo , is a Brazilian football player .
Gustavo started his professional career in 1999 with Guarani FC . Soon there was the opportunity to move to Europe, where he signed a contract with Levski Sofia . He rarely played there, but became Bulgarian football champion . In January 2003 he got a contract with Dynamo Moscow , but could not assert himself there either and only made eight appearances.
He then returned to Brazil in September 2003. He first played at Goiás EC before moving to AA Ponte Preta in December . In 2005 he was for Clube de Regatas Brasil in Maceió in the state of Alagoas on the ball. From January to December 2006 he played for the Paraná Clube , where he won the Paraná National Championship .
During the winter break of the 2006/07 season, Gustavo moved to FC Schalke 04 , but did not appear at the start of training and refused to play for the club in the future. In April of the same year he was presented as a new signing for the Brazilian first division club Palmeiras São Paulo . This matter gave rise to legal controversy.
With Palmeiras he won the 2008 State Championship of São Paulo . At the beginning of 2009 he moved to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte , with whom he won the 2009 Minas Gerais State Championship .
In July 2010 he signed on loan with US Lecce , the club was also guaranteed a purchase option.
