Paulo Jorge Fernandes Sereno (born October 24, 1983 in Salvaterra de Magos ), actually known under the name Gutty Sereno , is a former Portuguese football player . He is used in attacking midfield .
Career
Youth and early days in Portugal
He comes from the youth of Sporting Lisbon, in which U-19 he played until the summer of 1999. Then he went on to the U-19 of FC Alverca from which he was awarded to the U-19 of Real SC in July 2000. After his return to Alverca he played there until August 2002 and was then awarded again. This time to the B-team of Benfica Lisbon . After the end of this loan, he left the club and switched to the lower class playing club CD Alcains . There he played in the 2003/04 season after which he joined the União Madeira . His time there should only last one season and so he then went to a new club, this time to Abrantes FC .
Assignments with foreign first division clubs
Another season later, he left Portugal for the first time and joined the Greek club AO Kavala . There it only lasted until the end of the season, after which he returned to Madeira , where he was already active for one season. Then it went on in Portugal to GDR Monsanto with which he could play in the Portuguese third division . At the beginning of 2010 he left his home country again to join the first division club Doxa Katokopias in Cyprus , his first appearance in the league he received on February 6 in the 3-0 away defeat against Anorthosis Famagusta . In total, he only made two more appearances by the end of the season. For the 2010/11 season it went to the next island in Malta to Hibernians FC . Here he had his first appearance in the Maltese Premier League in a 1-1 draw against FC Floriana on December 4, 2010. Here he only made two more appearances until the end. The next year he went back to Monsanto until the end of the season. For the next season he went to the Clube Oriental de Lisboa , for which he played again for one season. He then spent the first half of the 2012/13 season at SC União Torreense and moved to the then second division Atlético CP in the second half . There he came then with a 0-0 at Sporting Lisbon B for the first time in a game in a Portuguese professional league. After the 2012/13 season Atlético rose from bottom of the table and Sereno left the club.
Time in Germany and end of career
In the summer he moved to Germany for the first time to BSV Rehden in the Regionalliga Nord . He should have his first appearance there at home in a 1-1 draw against Hannover 96 II , but there he was only substituted in the 89th minute. This should only be followed by three more missions by the end of the year. On January 27, 2014, he then moved within Lower Saxony to the upper division TB Uphusen . There he was then used again in nine games by the end of the season. His first appearance in the major league, in the form of a substitution in the second half, he had in the 2-1 defeat at 1. FC Wunstorf . In the 2014/15 season he was then used again in nine games until he returned to Portugal in January 2015 to end his career there. At UD Vilafranquense he played until the end of the 2017/18 season and then ended his career.
