history
The Ebingen grammar school is traced back to the Latin school founded by city clerk Johannes Etschlich in 1480 , which was supplemented by a secondary school from 1805 . The move to today's Hohenbergschule followed in 1900, and girls have also been taught since 1909. Since 1924, an upper secondary school has been taught, and the first high school graduates took their matriculation exams in 1927 . The Ebingen grammar school has been housed in a new building since 1972 .
