Hélène Miard-Delacroix
Hélène Miard-Delacroix (born November 5, 1959 ) is a French historian and political scientist .
Life
Hélène Miard-Delacroix has been Professor of German Contemporary History at the German Institute of the Sorbonne Université since 2008 . Before that she worked in Tours and from 2003 as a professor at the University of Lyon .
She attended the École normal supérieure in Fontenay-aux-Roses (1980–1985). Until 2018 she was chairwoman of the international advisory board of the Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt Foundation and is deputy chairwoman of the scientific advisory board of the Institute for Contemporary History . She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board in the House of European History .
In the 2016/2017 winter semester she was Alfred Grosser visiting professor for civil society research at the Polytechnic Society Foundation at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main .
On April 27, 2017, she was among the signatories of an appeal by university researchers who announced that Emmanuel Macron would be elected for the presidential election because he was committed to higher education and research.
