With a height of 922  m , the Hadriwa [Hádriwɐ] is a completely forested mountain near Elisabethszell , municipality of Haibach in the Bavarian Forest . It is the highest point of the ridge between the Klinglbach and Grüner Bach in the east and Elisabethszeller Bach and the Menach with its side brooks in the west.

According to a potential analysis, the Hadriwa is one of 16 possible top locations for pumped storage plants in Bavaria. In the Straubing-Bogen district , the Pfarrerberg immediately to the south and the Kobelberg near Wiesenfelden are also included in these particularly suitable locations for pumped storage plants.

Until about the beginning of the 20th century , the desert of Hadriwa existed near the summit , the traces of which are still visible today through the remains of a building and well-preserved reading stone walls .

The origin of the name is unclear. One of the name interpretations is based on the Czech word "Hadr", for disagreement, dispute, quarrel and the fact that the monasteries Oberalteich and Windberg previously bordered this area. Another interpretation refers to a Czech word, "Had" for snake.

There is another mountain Hadriwa (677 m) in the Bavarian Forest in the municipality of Zell , district of Cham.
