Hal Scardino

Albert Henry Hugh "Hal" Scardino (born  December 25, 1984 in Savannah , Georgia ) is an American film actor and producer .

Life

Scardino was born in Savannah, Georgia, the youngest of three children, but grew up in Knightsbridge, London . His parents are Pearson - Executive Director Dame Marjorie Morris Scardino DBE FRSA and Pulitzer Prize winner Albert Scardino. Scardino attended Winchester College , an independent school for boys. After a supporting role (Morgan) in the drama The King's Game (1993), Scardino was able to leave more than 500 competitors behind for the main role of Omri in The Indian in the Kitchen Cabinet (1995). It's his best-known role to date. A year later followed the next film role (Charlie) in Marvin's Daughters (1996). Later Scardino concentrated entirely on his education. In February 2005 he graduated from Columbia University . In 2015 he was involved both as a producer and in the role of Ethan on The Show . 2017 followed another supporting role as Dwight in the BBC two-parter Man in an Orange Shirt .

His German voice actor is Benedikt Gutjan .

Scardino was nominated for both the Young Artist Award and the Saturn Award in 1996 for his portrayal in The Indian in the Kitchen Cabinet . In 1997 he was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award in the category "Best Cast" for Marvin's Daughters along with Meryl Streep , Leonardo DiCaprio , Diane Keaton , Robert De Niro , Hume Cronyn , Gwen Verdon and Dan Hedaya .
