The Halunder Jet is a catamaran of the Förde Reederei Seetouristik (FRS), which is used in the ferry service between Hamburg and the North Sea island of Helgoland across the Lower Elbe with stops in Cuxhaven and partly in Wedel .

The ship was ordered on 14 December 2016, on the shipyard Austal Philippines built. The ship was laid down on June 26, 2017 and launched on January 7, 2018 . The ship cost around 17 million euros. The ship was delivered on March 7, 2018 and left the shipyard on the same day for Europe under the Tuvalu flag with its home port of Funafuti .

The ship arrived in Hamburg on April 24, 2018. There it was christened on April 27, 2018 and put into service on April 28, 2018. It sails under the flag of Cyprus with its home port of Limassol . It replaced its predecessor of the same name, which was withdrawn from the route at the end of 2017 .

On August 12, 2018, was Halunder Jet between Helgoland and Hamburg damaged by a wave.

In the 2019 season (March to November) around 193,000 passengers were carried to and from the island of Helgoland with the Halunder Jet catamaran .

Due to the corona pandemic, the 2020 season began over two months later than usual on May 20, 2020. Day guests have only been allowed to travel since May 25, 2020.
