Hans-Dieter Möller
Hans-Dieter Möller (born May 20, 1939 in Duisburg ) is a German organist and music teacher .
Möller studied church music at the Folkwang University in Essen with Ernst Kaller , Sieglinde Ahrens and Siegfried Reda . In 1965 he passed the A exam . 1966 followed a study stay with Jean Langlais in Paris. 1970 to 1977 he was cantor at St. Ludger in Duisburg . Since 1978 he has been teaching as a professor of organ literature playing and organ improvisation at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf . As an organ expert for the Archdiocese of Cologne, Möller played a key role in shaping the Rhine organ landscape from 1985 onwards. Hans-Dieter Möller has been married to Roswitha Möller (née Maier) since 1970, with whom he has two children.
