Hans-Horst Henschen

Hans-Horst Henschen (born November 21, 1937 in Osnabrück , † June 20, 2016 in Munich ) was a German translator .

Life

Hans-Horst Henschen was born in Osnabrück in 1937. He translated literary, philosophical and anthropological works from French and English into German. In 1997 he received the Johann Heinrich Voss Prize for Translation from the German Academy for Language and Poetry in Darmstadt for his work . He died on June 20, 2016 in Munich.
