Hans-Jürgen Reznicek
Hans-Jürgen "Jäcki" Reznicek (born November 29, 1953 in Dresden - Lockwitz ) is a bass player, primarily for rock music and jazz .
Life
In the early 1970s, Jäcki Reznicek started playing bass, modeled on Paul McCartney . After he and his band were rejected by the grading committee, he took music lessons. His teacher recommended that he study music at the "Carl Maria von Weber" University of Music in Dresden , which he then accepted. During his studies he played in various jazz and pop bands until he was hired by the Klaus Lenz Big Band .
In 1979 he studied with the backing of Veronika Fischer his future bandmates Pankow know. He was also a busy studio musician. After Veronika Fischer left for West Berlin , the band Pankow was formed in 1981 , of which he remained a member until 1986, while also playing with the Gitarreros . That year he was asked as one of the few fretless bassists in the GDR to record the fretless takes in the Silly record studio for the later successful title Bataillon d'amour . He was then poached and since then has been a permanent member of Silly (as well as Uwe Hassbecker and Ritchie Barton ).
He (s) also plays with King Køng , East Blues Experience and together with the other Silly musicians in Joachim Witt's band . In 2003 he appeared again with the band Pankow , which has been on tour again since then. Since 2007 he has been performing regularly with Silly again.
Jäcki Reznicek has been a lecturer at the Dresden University of Music since 1991. He has published several bass textbooks.
His son Sebastian has been playing Silly's drums since 2005. They also play together with Tom Rauschhardt in his band Rauschhardt .
Reznicek lives in Berlin-Rahnsdorf.
