Hans Erdmann von Lüderitz

Hans Erdmann von Lüderitz (* 1655 in Liebenberg in the Prignitz ; † February 23, 1732 ) was a Prussian major general of the cavalry and heir to Wittenmoor , Einwinkel and Arensdorf.

Life

His father was Andreas von Lüderitz (1620–1701), heir to Wittenmoor and Einwinkel, his mother was his wife Maria Elisabeth, née von Schwarzenholz from the Germerslage family. His brother Andreas was a Prussian brigadier and district administrator of the Altmark.

In 1676 he joined the regiment of the Brandenburg body dragons as a cornet . In the Northern War he fought against the Swedes with it. He was promoted to lieutenant in 1681 but released in 1686. He was reinstated and made major of the Grand Mousquetaires on October 10, 1689 . There he was promoted to lieutenant colonel on February 19, 1695 , on January 19, 1708 colonel and on August 30, 1709 to major general of the cavalry. He died on February 23, 1733 as the heir to Wittenmoor, Einwickel and Arensdorf.

He married on November 1, 1698 in Liebenberg Anna Sophie von der Groeben († October 30, 1737) from the Loewenberg family. The couple had two sons.
