Hans H. Hinterhuber

Hans Hartmann Hinterhuber (born August 20, 1938 in Bruneck ) is an Austrian economist , author and management consultant . From 1970 to 2006 he was professor for industrial management at the University of Graz and for corporate management at the University of Innsbruck as well as visiting professor at the Luigi Bocconi University of Economics in Milan.

Life

Hans H. Hinterhuber studied petroleum engineering at the Montan University Leoben until 1960 (graduate engineer). He studied business administration and economics at the University of Venice and was ibid 1963 Dr. rer. oec. PhD. Hinterhuber completed his habilitation in 1967 at the La Sapienza University in Rome and in 1969 at the Montan University Leoben. He then worked in the Italian oil industry a. a. active at Agip and Aral .

In 1970 he became a full professor for industrial management at the Graz University of Technology . From 1971 to 1972 he headed the Institute for the Management of Technology (IIMT) in Milan. In 1974 he became a full professor and head of the Institute for Corporate Management at the University of Innsbruck . He has also been visiting professor at the Luigi Bocconi University of Economics in Milan since 1994 . In 2006 he founded the international management consultancy Hinterhuber & Partners in Innsbruck and Beijing (China). He also publishes numerous articles on corporate strategy.

He is a member of the Academy of Management (USA) and the Accademia Italiana di Economia Aziendale (Italy).
