Hans Müller (painter, 1898)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hans Andreas Christian Müller (born December 5, 1898 in Oschersleben (Bode) , † March 27, 1985 in Merzig ) was a German engineer, painter, writer, pentalogist and supporter of esotericism .

Early years

The family moved to Aachen for professional reasons when Hans Müller was four years old. Müller was interested in nature at an early age and explored the High Fens as a child . During one of his hikes he met a student who made him familiar with the world of thought of the Wandervogel movement , the Freemasons and the Rosicrucians . In September 1969, Müller wrote in a foreword to the first volume of his work "The Cosmic Principles" that he had felt early on that nothing could be without a system, that such a gigantic creation could not be formed and governed by itself, that even mysticism need not be occult because it is based on natural processes. Pastor Karl Hermann Gries (1868–1936) from Roetgen is said to have supported and encouraged him in his work.

Study time

Müller received training as a mechanical engineer. He carried the designation Ing. As an addition to the name. A study at an Aachen university has not yet been proven. According to statements from people who knew him, he was also pending secret societies or a lodge during his student days. He was spared from the First World War because of his age, but after its end and the subsequent occupation of the Rhineland by France and Belgium, he joined the resistance and actively fought against the Ruhr occupation . At the age of about 24 he is said to have taken painting lessons from the painter Georg Poppe for about a year at the Städel in Frankfurt - according to oral accounts from his students , probably under a false name. Then - as it is said in the printed résumés that appeared in exhibition catalogs for exhibitions of his pictures - he learned another year in Koblenz from the sculptor Toni Christmann (1894–1984). However, he only moved to Koblenz at the end of the 30s, so it must be assumed that Hans Müller wanted to veil part of his life or knew how to veil it successfully until long after his death. This part of his life concerns the time from the moment he was separated from his wife Katharina until about his lecture for the Fraternitas Saturni on the 644th anniversary of Jacques de Molay's death in March 1958. From then on he went public . He and his first wife Katharina, whom he married in Aachen in 1925, had two sons, Helmut (1932-2005) and Siegbert († 1950).

Hans Müller as an esotericist

His membership in the secret society of the Fraternitas Saturni during the time of Gregor A. Gregorius is a part in the development of his further life. He was assigned to the lodge and was promoted to Magister Gnostikus , which at that time corresponded to the 8th degree (today the 25th degree), i.e. the person who reports directly to the Grand Master Magister Aquarii . At this point there was a serious rift with Gregorius, as he, as master of the chair , wanted to sanction Hans Müller's departure from the brotherhood. This could be understood as a kind of test that ultimately justified Hans Müller to pass his findings in the doctrine of pentalogy and to publish them. It is clear, however, that so much was rumored about the illness of Grand Master Gregorius that it is mentioned in the Grosche biography of Popiol and Schrader Hans Müller lived and worked as Frater Johannes in Berlin near the lodge in the late 1920s and early 1930s , gave box lectures and wrote small textbooks or articles. Then his name is lost in the biography of Eugen Grosche, and he only reappears later as brother Nezah, who gave a lecture in Gelsenkirchen in 1958 about the “guardian of the threshold” (Saturn). The Berliner Illustrierte Nachtausgabe reported on December 3rd and 4th 1928 about Hans Müller, who is said to have been involved in a poisoning case, which turned out to be wrong in the course of the investigation. However, this case caused publicity.

Intellectual creation and life paths

Hans Müller had lived in Margaretenstrasse in Gelsenkirchen since 1955 with his second wife Gertrud, née Schmidtmann, whom he married in Gelsenkirchen in 1937, and transferred his knowledge of natural laws to observations of human behavior when Christa Weise met him in 1960. Together, the two worked out a change in the previous teaching on the somatic pentagram and expanded the manuscripts for the telluric system. This group of three moved to Saarbrücken, Riegelsbergerstrasse in 1963. 112 and shortly afterwards to Merzig / Saar at Wilhelmstrasse 46.

Many students came to Wilhelmstrasse, some more often than others, so that the inner (first) and second circle around Müller was spoken of. The inner circle included Henning and Inge Peters, Eduard and Marie-Claire Degott, Illa von Herzberg, Nina Weigel-Tichy, Gernot Brammer and Claus Steinmetz. Three men who still deal with pentalogy today but did not belong to the inner / first circle are Josef Krancher, Karl-Heinz Schreiner and Engelbert Ebbeler (previously had his own website with his wife and an appearance at www.hauszwischendengrenzen.de). There were intense developments in this house. At that time, the house on Wilhelmstrasse was founded as the Institute for Pentalogy and the Penta Society for the further development of pentalogy and for the protection of teaching and teachers (1965). In Switzerland, Fritz Guggisberg's house was also named the Institute for Pentalogy (May 1, 1965: Pentade No. 38). Hans Müller published his works as well as teaching material for students of pentalogy. There were working groups in which pentalogy was taught and pentadic working methods learned. The magazine The Pentade was published by the Penta Society. All printed works were printed in-house by the Hans Müller Ing. Publishing house in Merzig / Saar.

The pentalogy

The term pentalogy is a neologism coined by Müller for the branch of esotericism he represented. Quote: " Pentalogy is the term used to describe the human being according to its own structural system, analogous to the geometric pentatour and the decadal system of numbers." (Lehrheft 1, p. 9, 1967)

The geometric pentagram of the pentagram corresponds to the human body, which with its legs apart, arms outstretched to both sides and the head itself represents a pentagram. According to his theses, such a system has arisen to develop one's own mental, emotional and physical capacities, and beyond that an analysis of social and political processes is possible.

Major works
  • Book Pente (11 volumes): esoteric entry into the pentadic system (as a contrast to the other works), history of creation, detailed theosophical cosmology .
  • The cosmic principles : Treatise of the spiritual human creation story, cosmogenesis, general remarks on the origin of the human species, or on the development possibilities of the part of the species that distinguishes it from other sentient beings on earth.
  • The 47 types of people : Based on the number of births (according to the occidental calendar, i.e. DD.MM.YYYY), a typology is created that indicates the spiritual structure of the individual that is also used. There are a total of 72 types of people, but not all of them have yet appeared as the main type on earth. At the time of Hans Müller 47 types of people were developed, which is why the book is called that. On September 29, 1999, the 48th type appeared for the first time. It is already included in the book.
  • Numbers - Planets - Principles - Times - Fates : Works on Numerology .
  • The Radiant system of the human spirit (6 volumes): Here you will find information about aura , chakras , Körperungen (geometric principle shortcuts -> Trigolone ) and soffits in the energy body of man to power lines and spirit transformation and migration to an other side of the principles, as described in the "Cosmic Principles" or in "Numerology".

Late years and death

Grave of Hans Müller in the cemetery in Merzig / Saar

Müller spent the time between 1974, when Christa Weise and Claus Steinmetz moved out because of different views, and 1980 with changing supervisors who stayed with him for several years or even briefly, including Almuth Richter, Patrick Fassel and Karl-Heinz Schreiner. In 1980 Barbara Wacker alias Iris Sedella moved in with him and stayed with him until his death on March 27, 1985. During this time, a new, young group around Hans Müller was formed. Barbara Wacker published a book about the publishing house (Thoughts through the Pentalogy Hans Müller) and summarized the basic pentadic knowledge in several extensive volumes. Poems and pictures by Hans Müller have been inserted to loosen up the volumes.

The painter

Hans Müller painted a lot of oil paintings in the 1960s and 1970s. His works, which were shown in several exhibitions in Germany, Spain and America, were called psychodynamic painting (exhibition catalog "situatzione simbolo", Milano Nov 1973, Edizioni Centro Culturale San Fedele, Galleria San Fedele, Via Ulrico Hoepli, 3 / 5, 20121 Milano).

Three to four types of motifs can be differentiated in the oil paintings: pompous and colorful mandalas . A newspaper article about the 2015 exhibition shows one of the many, as does a flyer from the Merzig City Library.

Thematic motifs stand on their own as a second group and, with a few exceptions, represent timeless situations or faces.

Working masters, the Janus principle , the trigolons and demon intellect are examples of pictures in which only faces can be seen. Many faces are characterized by concise eyes that occupy a prominent place in a naive face and give the impression of the actual presence of a being behind or in the image. Scenes are usually symbolically loaded. The collective subconscious is represented as a group of greedy wolves, the last three ages (eons) with the symbols representing them Aries , Pisces and, for Aquarius, the jug that is poured out. Simplifications, such as B. a dark hole in the ground in front of an old man indicates the imminent death of the painter, or a woman with wings behind a man sitting in meditation posture, who is enthroned over a large crowd on a high mountain, should make that clear the most powerful man cannot reach full size without his anima .

There are also a number of psychedelic landscapes or structures . They are characterized by their idiosyncratic coloring and should not represent real landscapes, but energy complexes or astral flora and fauna. Little or no shades of green can be found in his oil paintings.

His pupil and long-time friend Josef L. Krancher organized many of the exhibitions, including several exhibitions in the Medici Gallery in Munich, which he directed from 1969 to 1973, as well as exhibitions in the theater gallery of the Theater an der Machnerstrasse in Hamburg, in the Siemens Gallery of Siemens management in Munich, in Atelier Möhring in Wiesbaden, in the Volksbildungsheim Heidelberg, in Haus Dornbusch Frankfurt, in Maison Planete Paris and in Milan in the Jesuit monastery (walkways) together with colleagues like Guy Harloff or Walter Wegmüller . He was also able to exhibit in Los Angeles, USA, together with Sigrid Dietz.

The active painting time stopped at the beginning of the 1980s.
