Hans Sprenger (born October 12, 1948 in Berlin ) is a former German football player .

Career

After stints at SV Krün and SV Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Hans Sprenger moved to Tennis Borussia Berlin in the Berlin City League in 1970 . After two fourth places with TeBe, Sprenger joined last year's champion Wacker 04 Berlin in 1972 , with whom he narrowly failed to climb into the elite class in the 1972/73 season as bottom of the table in the promotion round to the Bundesliga . 1973 Sprenger returned to Tennis Borussia Berlin. In the first season after his return, Sprenger played in the regional league . It was the last year of the five-track system, and Sprenger and his teammates ended this game year with the championship title. Only three points were given in the entire season. In the following round of promotion, TeBe prevailed against FC Augsburg , Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , Borussia Neunkirchen and FC St. Pauli . In addition to Sprenger, the promotion team included - Hubert Birkenmeier , Stephan Hoffmann , Norbert Siegmann , Jürgen Rumor , Joachim Thiel , Jürgen Schulz , Reinhard Adler , Gerd Schwidrowski , Gino Ferrin , Karlheinz Subklewe , Norbert Stolzenburg , Peter Eggert , Wolfgang Mulak and Dieter Schollbach . The 1974/75 season , Sprenger played 32 times and scored two goals, in the Bundesliga , was not positive. At the end of the season, they took 17th place, nine points were missing from a non-relegation place that SV Werder Bremen occupied. So Sprenger went to the 2nd Bundesliga , which was created last year . Under coach Helmuth Johannsen , he was immediately promoted again, as champion of the northern season, the 1975/76 season , before Borussia Dortmund . In the Bundesliga, TeBe again took 17th place and was relegated together with Karlsruher SC and Rot-Weiss Essen . Sprenger stayed with TeBe until 1979 and continued to play in the 2nd division.
