Hans Wolf (translator)
Hans Wolf ( pseudonym : Eugen Neter , born November 9, 1949 in Baden-Baden ) is a German translator .
Life
After completing secondary school, Hans Wolf completed a commercial apprenticeship at the Baden-Baden high school in Hohenbaden . He then attended an evening high school and passed the Abitur there. He studied German , English and philosophy at the University of Freiburg ; after that he carried out various activities and also wrote literary texts. Wolf has been working as a translator from English since the mid- 1980s ; The authors he has translated include: a. Cormac McCarthy , Richard Yates and Arthur Conan Doyle .
