Hans Wyprächtiger (born September 29, 1929 in Basel ; † May 6, 2006 in Prien am Chiemsee ) was a Swiss actor .

biography

Wyprächtiger first studied German in Zurich and at the same time attended an acting school in Zurich. In 1950 he shifted his professional focus entirely to acting and in 1953 was one of the co-founders of the first room theater in Basel. In 1954 he got an engagement at the Stadttheater Basel. Further stage stations were u. a. Biel-Solothurn, Landshut, the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen , Kassel, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus (1960–1968), the Deutsche Schauspielhaus Hamburg , Berlin, Schwäbisch Hall, Ettlingen and the Schauspielhaus Zürich .

From the beginning of the 1960s he also increasingly took on roles in film and television productions.
