Harald Focke

Harald Focke (* 1950 in Bassum ) is a German author who has written publications on historical topics on Bassum, Sulingen and the history of shipping as well as textbooks.

Life

After graduating from high school in Diepholz in 1969 and studying history , German , political science and education in Hamburg , he taught history, German and politics at high schools in Hamburg and Sulingen. Until 2013 he worked as director of studies at the grammar school in Sulingen ( Lower Saxony ) and lives in Bassum. He is the editor and editor of the textbook series The Were Times (together with Dieter Brückner ) and was editor of the membership magazine of the German Society for Shipping and Marine History (DGSM) Der Signalgast . From 2014 to 2015 Harald Focke was a member of the board of the German Society for Shipping and Marine History (DGSM) .
