Harkensee is a district of the city Dassow in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Geography and transport links

Harkensee is located north of the core town of Dassow am Katzbach , a right tributary of the Harkenbäk . The state road L 01 runs east. The distance to the Baltic Sea in a north-westerly direction is about 2.5 km. The 580 hectare coastal landscape nature reserve extends between Priwall and Barendorf with the Harkenbäkniederung directly to the west of the village .

Manor complex with manor house , barn , inspector's house , park and the former stables. The manor house, a two-storey, classical plastered building with a hipped roof from around 1830, was a residential building after 1945. After 2002 it was renovated and is now a holiday home.
