Career

Cameron began his NHL career in the 1917/18 season with the Toronto Arenas , with whom he won the Stanley Cup in the first year after winning it for the first time with the Toronto Blueshirts four years earlier. In the following years he played in Ottawa and Montreal . In 1919 and 1920, however, he returned to Toronto, where he celebrated the third Stanley Cup victory of his career with the St. Patricks in the 1921/22 season. After the 1922/23 season, the Canadian ended his career in the NHL and let it end in lower-class leagues. In 1933 he finally ended his career. Cameron was one of the most dangerous and most technically gifted defenders during his playing days in the NHL.

In addition, Cameron managed the first historically mentioned Gordie Howe hat trick in 1917 , which was neither popular nor known by that name at the time.
