Hauröden is a district of the rural community Am Ohmberg in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia .

location

Hauröden is located south of Bischofferode on Landesstraße 2058 about nine kilometers northeast of Leinefelde-Worbis . Together with large soils , it is located in a trough-like basin below the Ohmberg on the northeastern edge of the Ohmgebirge not far from the border with Lower Saxony .

history

The village was first mentioned in a document on July 15, 1206. In 2009 300 people lived in the village.
