Up to the present the property has seen numerous changes of ownership and changes in its mostly agricultural use. In the 19th century the "Neuhaus" (later referred to as Vorwerk ) built by Jobst Heinrich became the manor "Haus Harderode". Rudolf von Blum acquired the manor in the second half of the 19th century. He came from a patrician family from Hanover mentioned in a document since 1291 . The manor is still privately owned today.
