Hausen im Killertal is a village in the Swabian Alb in Baden-Württemberg . It is 697 m above sea level. NN and has a good 900 inhabitants. Hausen has been part of the city of Burladingen since 1973 . It's four kilometers west of it.
location
The headwaters of the Starzel are located south of Hausen am Albtrauf . It is the southernmost and highest village in the Killertal . Its highest point is the Haubenberg at 927 meters.
history
On the municipal area are traces of settlement from the Bronze Age detectable with vast settlements of were Roman noted.
The place is first mentioned in a document in 1333. Hausen belonged to the Counts of Zollern at least since the 14th century . In the 16th century, the place was under the killer office . Hausen had 796 inhabitants in 1790, 925 in 1842 and 597 in 1890.
On January 1, 1973 Hausen in the Killertal was incorporated into Burladingen.
